Meet the Companions
Fourteen friendly guides. Different strengths, different personalities and one shared purpose: helping information, support and everyday life feel clearer, kinder and more manageable.
Official V2.0 family
The 14 Companions at a glance
This overview reuses the established official Companion artwork so the roster stays visually consistent across Aspie Answers.
Friendly guidance with a purpose
Why the Companions are part of Aspie Answers
The Companions are not decoration. Each one has an established role and should appear where that role genuinely helps someone understand a topic, remember a strategy, find the next step or feel supported.
More welcoming
Friendly guides can make unfamiliar, emotional or complex topics feel less intimidating.
Easier to navigate
Each Companion gives visitors a familiar clue about the kind of support or strategy they may find.
More memorable
Consistent roles and personalities can make practical strategies easier to recognise and remember.
Connected growth
The same Companion can link a website page, printable, guide, story or future digital tool without changing identity.

Individual Companion pages are the next layer. Each Companion will have one clear main profile/home page first. Extra subpages should only be added when that Companion has enough genuinely different content to justify them.
One strong home for each Companion
What the individual Companion pages can become
The main page should be the canonical home for that Companion. It can hold the essentials first, then link into deeper material only when there is enough content to make another page useful.
Meet & understand
Role, personality, strengths, purpose, visual identity and what this Companion helps with.
How they help
Support areas, examples, practical strategies and pathways into relevant hubs.
Tools & resources
Worksheets, planners, guides, toolkits and collections that genuinely fit the Companion’s role.
Team connections
Where the Companion works with others and which shared support goals bring them together.
Stories & activities
Future stories, colouring, social stories, activity pages and adventures when enough material exists.
Digital & media
App roles, audio, animation, music themes and interactive experiences where appropriate.
Different strengths can work together
Companions can support more than one pathway
The Companion Universe does not need to force every character into only one box. Individual roles stay consistent, while role-aligned teams can bring several strengths together around a shared goal.
Planning & Executive Function
Planning, focus, routines, time, flexibility, working memory and pacing often overlap.
Emotional Wellbeing
Reassurance, belonging, emotional support, hope, compassion and growth can call on different Companions.
Learning & Understanding
Learning can involve curiosity, study, focus, confidence and flexible problem-solving.
Rest, Regulation & Everyday Balance
Rest, sensory support, pacing, self-care and balancing daily demands often need more than one kind of support.
Across the wider Aspie Answers ecosystem
Where you may meet the Companions
Companions should appear thoughtfully rather than everywhere. The goal is useful familiarity, not visual overload.
Website hubs
Friendly guides can introduce topics and point toward relevant sections or next steps.
Guides & workbooks
Companions can explain activities, model strategies and provide gentle prompts.
Planners & checklists
Role-aligned Companions can make routines, planning and practical tools easier to recognise.
Learning resources
Learning Companions can support curiosity, study, confidence and understanding.
Stories & activities
Future stories, social stories, colouring and activities can bring personalities to life without changing their roles.
Apps & digital media
Selected Companions can appear in tools, audio, animation and app experiences where the role genuinely fits.
Future adventures in the Companion Universe
The fourteen main profile pages are only the foundation. The Universe can later grow into deeper stories, activities, audio, digital tools, galleries, adventures and behind-the-scenes material without forcing every Companion to have the exact same number of pages.
- Individual main profiles
- Role-based resource collections
- Stories & social stories
- Activities & colouring
- Audio & character themes
- Apps & digital experiences
- Behind-the-scenes development
- Future adventures & new regions
A dedicated Future Adventures / Growing Universe page can sit in the Companion branch later and collect these plans in one place.
