Aspie Answers shares educational information, practical tools and lived-experience-informed
resources to help people understand different needs and find useful next steps.
Resources on health, wellbeing, mental health, learning, disability or support are not a
replacement for individual professional advice. If something is worrying you, affecting
everyday life or does not feel right, consider speaking with an appropriate qualified
professional. Seeking another opinion is also okay when you feel you need one.
Specialist Libraries
Explore focused collections designed for different people, settings and support needs.
Whether you are looking for workplace guidance, family resources, learning materials,
accessibility information or professional-support tools, these libraries are designed
to help make useful information easier to find.
Find support that fits
Different people need different kinds of information. A parent may be looking for
strategies to support family life. An educator may need classroom resources.
A worker may be looking for employment guidance, while a healthcare or community
professional may want accessible material to use alongside the people they support.
The Specialist Libraries bring those pathways together while still allowing resources
to appear across more than one relevant collection.
Search by topic, audience or support area — or use the filters to narrow the directory.

🔤 Topics A–Z & Glossaries A–Z
Large hubs can also offer alphabetical pathways when that genuinely makes information easier to find.
Topics A–Z
Browse major subjects alphabetically across larger Aspie Answers hubs and collections.
Topic indexes can help visitors find a subject without needing to know where it sits in the site structure.
Planned across appropriate major hubs.
Glossaries & Definitions A–Z
Plain-language explanations of terms related to neurodiversity, education,
mental health, employment, disability and other relevant areas.
Existing glossaries can be reused and expanded rather than rebuilt.
Can’t find what you need?
Some Aspie Answers resources may sit across more than one library, and the wider
library is still growing. Try another search term, explore a related hub,
or return to the main Learning & Resource Library.
Different needs. Different pathways. One connected resource ecosystem.
❓ Specialist Libraries — Quick Questions
What is a Specialist Library?
A Specialist Library groups resources around a particular audience,
professional setting or support area so visitors do not have to search
through one enormous undifferentiated resource list.
Can one resource appear in more than one library?
Yes. A useful resource can be surfaced in more than one relevant place.
Cross-linking is preferred over creating duplicate versions of the same resource.
Are Guides, Workbooks and Printables separate Specialist Libraries?
Not automatically. These are primarily resource types and collections.
They can sit within and across Specialist Libraries.
Will every resource have every edition?
No. Editions are created where they genuinely make the resource more useful,
accessible or appropriate for a particular audience.
Where does the Companion Universe fit?
The Companion Universe remains its own major Aspie Answers ecosystem.
Appropriate Companion resources can also appear inside relevant Specialist
Libraries without replacing the main Companion Universe.
Specialist Library destinations will be linked as their live page URLs are confirmed.
Existing pages should be reused, renamed, merged or cross-linked before new duplicates are created.
