Welcome to the Aspie Answers Companion Universe
Step into a growing world of friendly companions who make learning, planning, emotional wellbeing, daily living and personal growth feel more approachable, encouraging and accessible.
Each companion has a distinct personality and role. Together they work in supportive teams across Aspie Answers, guiding children, teenagers, adults, families, educators, support workers and professionals toward helpful information, practical tools and new ways to grow.
What is the Companion Universe?
The Companion Universe is an educational and creative framework within Aspie Answers. Its characters help explain ideas, introduce resources and make complex topics feel friendlier without reducing their importance.
The companions support planning, learning, feelings, independence, pacing, rest, resilience and future goals. They may appear alone, in their official teams or alongside other companions when a topic benefits from several kinds of support.
The approved Version 1 profile cards remain the source of truth for every future illustration. Team scenes and banners may use different poses, suitable clothing, props or backgrounds, but they never replace or redefine the official companion designs.

Our accessibility and inclusion promise
The Companion Universe is designed to support different ages, communication needs, learning preferences and levels of energy. The characters are not only for children; they can guide adults, families, educators, support workers and professionals too.
As the website grows, companion resources may be developed in Classic, Plain, Family, Kawaii, Companion, Teacher, Support Worker, Healthcare, Easy Read, Large Print, Low Ink, Black-and-White and interactive formats where appropriate.
Created by Kerrin Maclean
Kerrin created the Companion Universe to make learning, emotional wellbeing and everyday-life support feel more welcoming, visual and encouraging. Every companion has a purpose, while every team shows how different strengths can work together.
This universe will continue growing through the Aspie Answers website, books, workbooks, printables, educational projects and future interactive experiences.
The Companion Universe is only beginning
New companions, specialist roles, resources and adventures can be introduced gradually without changing the foundation.
These are long-term directions rather than promises of immediate release. The website and official companion library remain the current foundation.
Frequently asked questions
Are the companions only for children?
No. They are designed to support children, teenagers, adults, families, educators, support workers and professionals. The presentation can change for different audiences while each companion’s official identity remains consistent.
Why do companions work in teams?
Many everyday needs overlap. Teams show how planning, learning, emotional support, pacing and practical skills can work together while each companion keeps a distinct role and personality.
Will more companions be introduced?
Yes. Specialist companions may be added when they fill a genuine role, such as communication, budgeting, travel, technology, creativity, nutrition or workplace support.
Do banners replace the official profile designs?
No. The approved Version 1 profile cards are always the canonical reference. Banners and scenes are illustrations using those locked companions.
