The person behind Aspie Answers

Hello, I’m Kerrin

I’m the founder of Aspie Answers, and I’m genuinely glad you’re here.

Aspie Answers is much more than a website to me. It is a project shaped by lived experience, ongoing learning and a genuine desire to make neurodiversity easier to understand.

Whether you are neurodivergent, supporting someone you care about, working in education, employment, healthcare or community support, I hope you find information here that feels clear, compassionate and genuinely useful.

My lived experience

My Story

Like many neurodivergent people, my journey has not always been straightforward.

Living with autism, ADHD and other neurodivergent experiences has shown me that everyday life can be rewarding, creative and full of possibility—but it can also be confusing, overwhelming and exhausting.

I have experienced the challenges of trying to find clear answers, organise everyday life, manage competing demands and understand information that often feels scattered or disconnected from real experiences.

Those experiences have helped shape the kind of resources I now create: practical, compassionate and designed to be used in everyday life.

What I Have Learned

There is no single correct way to be neurodivergent, and no single solution will work for everybody.

People deserve information and support that recognises their individuality, respects their strengths and helps them find approaches that work for their own lives.

This belief sits at the heart of Aspie Answers.

The heart behind the project

Why I Created Aspie Answers

I created Aspie Answers because I know that living with autism, ADHD and other neurodivergent experiences can sometimes feel confusing, overwhelming and lonely.

Too often, information is scattered, difficult to understand or does not reflect real life. I wanted to change that.

Aspie Answers is built from lived experience, learning and a genuine desire to help others navigate everyday life with more confidence. My goal is to create practical, accessible and compassionate resources for neurodivergent people, families, educators, employers, carers and professionals.

Whether someone has just received a diagnosis, has been searching for answers for years or simply wants to understand themselves or someone they care about better, I want them to know they are welcome here.

Everyone deserves information that is clear, respectful and easy to access. Everyone deserves to feel understood. Everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive—not by changing who they are, but by being supported in ways that work for them.

Aspie Answers is my way of helping build a more understanding, inclusive and compassionate world—one resource, one conversation and one person at a time.

A commitment to visitors

My Personal Promise

Every resource I create should be something I would genuinely want to receive myself or confidently share with someone I care about.

I will keep striving to make Aspie Answers practical, respectful, accessible and compassionate.

This website may not hold every answer, but I hope it helps you feel more informed, more confident and a little less alone.
