Neurodivergence — understanding different minds, everyday support and practical pathways.

Neurodivergence

Neurodivergence is a broad way of describing brains and nervous systems that differ from dominant or typical patterns. This doorway is designed to help you move from understanding into practical pathways: autism, ADHD, AuDHD, learning differences, sensory needs, communication, executive function, identity, accessibility, everyday life, work, community and support.

There is no one neurodivergent experience

People can share a diagnosis or label and still have very different strengths, barriers, communication styles, sensory needs, energy levels and support needs. You do not need to fit every description on this page for your experience to matter.

Neurodivergence and neurodiversity are related — but not identical

Neurodiversity describes natural neurological variation across people as a whole. Neurodivergence is commonly used for neurological patterns that differ from dominant or typical expectations. Aspie Answers keeps both pathways because they answer different visitor needs.
