Online forum for autistics & autistic parents
This part will cover forums that are specifically designed for people with autism as well as for the parents to join a discussion of any kind that will tickle their fancy. Bear in mind when you’re joining a forum that we need to be respectful of others based on their experiences and lived experiences. As said the golden rule is, ‘Treat others the way that you want to be treated.’ Be patient and empathetic of others or as I say, ‘Try walking in my shoes for at least a good mile or so to see what my life is like as someone with Aspergers and hosts of mental illnesses to see my everyday life struggles that I go through to gain that better understanding to who I am behind the diagnoses.
